Reggies Chicago

Reggies was founded in 2007 in an up-and-coming enclave in the South Loop catering to up-and-coming rock bands. Now just over a decade later, Reggies has grown with the neighborhood –– featuring a 16,000 square foot complex with a Music Joint, second-level Comedy Club, Rooftop Bar, and an intimate Music Venue that fits 400, including a VIP section. Featured in a variety of Chicago publications, (Time Out and The Trib) among global profiles (UK's The Guardian), Reggies is officially on the map. All three levels offer award winning wings among a full menu of apps, entrees, and not just your average bar palate to go along with top-shelf premium vodka and whiskey along with 25 beers on tap. Private Event opportunities are available throughout the complex. Chicago is a sports town and Reggies knows that, with flat screens plastered throughout, along with vintage bus shuttles to local pro sporting events (Hawks, Bears, White Sox, and Fire). The Venue and Music Joint still feature "hidden gem" acts, but have welcomed top names like Tragically Hip, Alkaline Trio, and Carl Palmer. The South Side location has opportunistically become a breeding ground to catch hip-hop and pop acts before and even after they hit it big, like Logic, Mac Miller, Khalid, Blackbear, and notably local hero Chance The Rapper. If Reggies started its identity as a grunge, metal-centric dive bar, its identity has morphed into no specific box at all (an identity in and of itself). Reggies is quite truly a place for everyone, featuring some of the most diverse clientele, music, and food of any entertainment hub in the city. And that only rings further true at Reggies On The Beach –– a new summer beachfront location on 63rd Street. As a business, Reggies Chicago is run by professionals from the kitchen to its servers, to its event planners, talent bookers, and top-notch box office and administrative staff. A true authentic culture exists and there's no shortage of opportunities to grow.
