Ola Dawidson

Ola Dawidson has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Starting in 2000, they worked as a PhD student at Chalmers tekniska högskola, specializing in the management of product development. During their time there, they focused on research projects with Ericsson Mobile Platforms and gained knowledge on R&D management.

In 2006, Ola began their career at Volvo Group, initially as a Business and Management Consultant, where they focused on R&D and product/project portfolio management. Ola later became the Manager of the Solution Office in the Product Development Solution Unit, responsible for strategic development and portfolio management.

In 2013, Ola joined WirelessCar as the Director of Business & Project Management Office, overseeing the project portfolio and implementing best practice project management. Ola also held roles as the Manager of Information Security & Business Office and the Director of Strategy & Product Management.

Moving forward, Ola joined RISE Research Institutes of Sweden in 2017 as the Head of Operational Excellence and a member of the executive management team. Ola contributed to innovation processes and ensured the competitiveness of the Swedish business community.

In 2021, Ola held interim management positions at Simployer Sverige, where they were the Head of Content & Experts and later the Head of Product & Experts, responsible for a team of HR, VAT, Tax, and salary experts. Ola then started their own consultancy company, Succeed Interim & Consulting AB, offering support in areas such as interim management and project & program management.

Currently, Ola is at AB Regin, serving as the VP of Product Management & Support Center.

Ola Dawidson's education history starts in 1994 when they earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Växjö University. Ola then pursued further studies at Chalmers University of Technology, where they obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1997 to 1999. Ola continued their education at Chalmers University of Technology and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Operations Management and Product Development Management from 2000 to 2006. In 2011, they attended Volvo Group and achieved the Global Functional Leader degree. Ola also attended additional programs at Volvo Group, including the Foundation for leading people from 2012 to 2013 and the Looking Glass (Manager-for-manager leadership training) in 2014. In 2017, they received the SAFe 4.0 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile Inc. Finally, in 2018, Ola Dawidson attended StyrelseAkademien and completed the Effective Company Directorship (Rätt fokus i styrelsearbetet) program.
