Malvika Garg

Malvika Garg is an experienced professional in the field of biotechnology and intellectual property management. Currently serving as the Intellectual Property Manager at the Regional Centre for Biotechnology since March 2019, Malvika has prior experience as a Group Leader at Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd., where responsibilities included the design and synthesis of new chemical entities (NCEs) and involvement in the lead optimization phase. Additionally, Malvika held various roles at Ranbaxy from January 2003 to June 2010, contributing to drug design through an understanding of disease pathways and drug target features. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Kurukshetra University, a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the same university, a PG Diploma in Patent Laws from NALSAR, and completion of the General Course on Intellectual Property from WIPO in Geneva, Switzerland.
