Arjun Nair

Arjun Nair is a Wastewater Treatment Process and Compliance Specialist at the Regional District of Nanaimo since September 2022, with prior experience as a Wastewater Specialist in Process Design at Weaver Technical Corp. and Manager of Utilities and Public Works at Shuswap Indian Band. Arjun has held significant operational management roles at Call2Recycle, Inc. and Retriev Technologies Inc., as well as environmental management at JBS, where responsibilities included water treatment and compliance with environmental regulations. Earlier career stages involved project coordination at KNM Process Equipment Inc. and research at the University of Ottawa, alongside project management in the Middle East at Huber Technology Middle East and technical engineering at Mass Leader Sewage and Drainage Contracting. Arjun holds a Master of Applied Science in Engineering from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Engineering from RV College of Engineering.
