Dr. Adrian Newson

Dr. Adrian Newson, FACHE has over 25 years of work experience in various healthcare organizations. Dr. Adrian is currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Oncology Services at Regional One Health. Previously, they held the positions of Director of Oncology Services at DCH Health System and Administrative Director of Ambulatory Services at Metro Nashville General Hospital at Meharry. Dr. Newson also has experience as the Assistant Administrator of Clinical Services at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis and as the Director of Radiation Oncology at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Adrian has held leadership roles in the areas of radiology, cath lab services, and outpatient radiology/radiation oncology at Methodist Healthcare South, Delta Medical Center, and Tenet Healthcare - Saint Francis Hospital respectively. Additionally, they have worked as a Territory Manager at E-Z-EM Medical Sales and as a Clinical Instructor in Radiology/Radiation Oncology at Baptist College of Health Sciences.

Dr. Adrian Newson, FACHE, has a diverse education history in the field of healthcare management. Dr. Adrian completed a Certificate in Healthcare Management from the Fellow Board of Governors of the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration with a focus on Healthcare Management from Virginia University of Lynchburg between 2019 and 2021. Dr. Newson also holds a Masters of Science in Leadership/Policy Studies from The University of Memphis, which they earned from 1999 to 2001. Furthermore, they have a Certificate in Radiation Therapy from Baptist School Radiation Therapy from 1991 to 1992. Lastly, they received a Bachelors Degree in Radiologic Technology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences from 1987 to 1990.
