David Singer

David Singer is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media relations, community engagement, and journalism. Currently serving as Communications Specialist at RSU 21 School District since November 2022, David previously worked with the Portland Police Department as Media Relations & Community Liaison, where notable achievements included building community relationships and producing multimedia outreach. David's journalism background includes roles at Sinclair Broadcast Group, WTOV-TV News 9, and Observer-Reporter, where investigative reporting and award-winning series were highlights. An academic foundation in Journalism and Mass Communication from Point Park University and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Communications, and Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College further complement David's expertise in managing communications and media strategies.
