Mary Erina Driscoll

VP, Academic Affairs at Regis College

Dr. Driscoll is the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Regis College. Prior to Regis, Dr. Driscoll served as the dean of the School of Education at The City College of New York (CCNY), where she held the Harold Kobliner Chair in Education and was a professor of educational leadership.

For two years, she served as CCNY’s interim provost and senior academic vice president, responsible for the leadership and strategic planning for eight schools and divisions, enrolling over 15,000 students. She previously served as the chair of the Department of Administration, Leadership and Technology at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. She was an associate professor of educational administration at NYU and an assistant professor of educational policy studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has served on a number of boards and scholarly societies, and is currently the chair of the board of trustees at the Academy of Mount St. Ursula in the Bronx.

Driscoll is a contributing author of the book A Life in Classrooms: Philip W. Jackson and the Practice of Education. She has also authored numerous articles in journals such as the Peabody Journal of Education, the American Journal of Education and the Encyclopedia of Activism and Social Justice.

Driscoll holds a doctorate in administration, institutional and policy studies from the University of Chicago, a master’s in child development from Sarah Lawrence College, and a bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College.
