Alastair Reid

Alastair Reid is a seasoned professional in Geographic Information Systems, currently serving as a Senior Product Manager and Product Owner (data) at Registers of Scotland since January 2005, where Alastair also leads the GIS team. Prior roles include GIS Analyst and GIS Team Leader at Registers of Scotland, and Information and Mapping Assistant at Scottish Borders Council. Alastair began a career in GIS at Scottish Power and held customer service roles at Clydesdale Bank and team leadership at Mason Land Surveys Ltd. Alastair holds an MSc with distinction in Geographic Information Systems from City, University of London, a PgDip in Conveyancing from Abertay University, and a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry from Heriot-Watt University, alongside a Fellowship with the Royal Geographical Society.
