Barry Mullan

Barry Mullan currently serves as the Head of User Centred Design at Registers of Scotland, a position held since July 2019, where the focus is on strategic direction for various communities of practice including Agile, Business Analysis, and User Research. Prior roles include Lead Service Designer at Registers of Scotland, Business Design Consultant at Tesco Bank, and Non Executive Director at Wishaw and District Housing Association Limited. Mullan has extensive experience in human-centered design, innovation, and governance, alongside a strong educational background with qualifications from the University of Glasgow and other institutions. Additional roles include Innovations & Excellence Manager at Wheatley Group and Service Design Lead at Glasgow Housing Association, complemented by accreditation as an EFQM Assessor.
