Galina Korshunova

Galina Korshunova has over 14 years of work experience. Galina began their career in 2006 as an Intern at Harco Publishing. In 2007, they were a Student Research Assistant at York University Archives and Special Collections. In 2008, they interned as an Assistant at the North American Department at DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). In 2009, they were an International Activities Assistant at York University. From 2011 to 2020, they were a Communications and Social Media Coordinator at O'Connell Executive Search. During this time, they wrote and edited engaging business content, drafted and edited reports, sourced stories for the weekly internal newsletter, wrote and posted tweets and LinkedIn posts, and recruited and managed intern junior researchers. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Sales Catalogue Coordinator at Crocs, Inc. During this time, they were also a Digital Marketing Copywriter and Team Lead, Sr Copywriter, PR & Communications at Fleet Complete. From 2020 to 2022, they were a Freelance Copywriter. Currently, they are a Sr Content & Communications Specialist at Regology.

Galina Korshunova obtained an International Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in 2010, majoring in French Studies, European Galina'story and German language. Galina then went on to pursue an International Master of Arts degree from the University of Amsterdam in 2011, focusing on European Studies : Identity and Integration. In 2008-2009, they participated in the Ontario/Rhone-Alpes Exchange Program at Université Savoie Mont Blanc, studying Linguistique, Langues et Lettres. In 2018, they completed a Copywriting That Sells course at the University of Toronto School of Professional Learning.
