Ben Morrison has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Ben most recently worked as a Solutions Engineer at Regrow Ag starting in April 2023. Prior to that, Ben worked as a Sales Engineer at Forethought from June to November 2022. Ben also worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at Trilio from December 2020 to May 2022 and as a Sales Engineer at IBM from March 2019 to December 2020.
Before venturing into the tech industry, Ben gained experience as a Data Analyst at Apple Inc. via Apex Systems in 2018, where they collaborated with analysts, technicians, and developers to test and solve software issues. Ben also drafted GIS software enhancements resulting in increased task productivity. Prior to this, Ben worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University from January 2015 to May 2017, where they conducted microbiological research and analyzed environmental data.
In addition, Ben interned as a Research and Development Intern at 3R Group Ltd in 2016, where they researched technical information for waste management and recycling strategies. Ben also collaborated with waste management operators and environmental officials on environmental stewardship policies and programs.
Before pursuing their professional career, Ben worked as part of the Activities Staff at Philmont Scout Ranch in 2014, where they led and organized nightly shows and events and hiked through wilderness terrain.
Ben Morrison earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering and Environmental Studies from Iowa State University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.
