Marie Marion

European Business Development and Project Manager at Regrow

Marie Marion has a diverse range of work experience in the agricultural field. Marie began their career in 2014 with internships in a laboratory and a dairy farm. In 2015, they worked as a horse guide in the Atacama desert, utilizing their language skills in Spanish and English. In 2016, they completed an internship in a field experimentation company.

Starting in 2017, Marie embarked on an independent entrepreneurial venture, developing a precision farming tool for farmers while simultaneously acquiring skills in organization, project management, and relationship building. Marie also won first prize in the FARMING BY SATELLITE competition for a cover crops management tool using satellite imagery.

Marie then interned as a farm advisor in an agribusiness company in 2017 before joining the European GNSS Agency in the same year, where they received recognition for their innovation in Smart-Farming. In 2018, they joined ARVALIS - Institut du végétal, where they played a key role in developing AgTech tools and conducting competitor analysis. Marie created a clear roadmap for a future potato service and provided nitrogen management advice for winter barley.

Marie's most recent position, starting in 2019, is with Regrow Ag. Marie has taken on roles as the European Business Development and Project Manager as well as the Australian Business Development and Project Manager. In the latter role, Marie is responsible for automating and analyzing agricultural data to provide actionable recommendations to agronomists, with a focus on increasing data value and accessibility.

Throughout their various positions, Marie has demonstrated a keen interest in precision agriculture and a drive to contribute to the industry's advancement.

Marie Marion completed their education at multiple institutions. Marie obtained a Master's degree in Agriculture from ISA Lille, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Université Paris Cité from 2011 to 2013, focusing on Medicine. Marie Marion also holds a Bachelor's degree in specialty physics and chemistry, which they earned from Institut de la Tour between 2005 and 2011. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained several certifications, including BULATS Spanish and TOEIC language certifications in November 2015. Marie also holds a boat license obtained in December 2013 and a driving license obtained in October 2012.
