Tomas Donovic began their work experience as a Digital Media Specialist at The Scots College from March 2014 to May 2017. Tomas then worked as an Electronic Timing Supervisor at Eastern Suburbs Little Athletics Club from September 2013 to December 2017. Tomas joined Data Republic as a Software Engineer Intern from January 2018 to March 2018. Tomas later returned to Data Republic as a DevOps Engineer in September 2018 and stayed until January 2021. In this role, Tomas managed Kubernetes clusters, utilized AWS services, managed infrastructure as code, wrote scripts and programs, provided technical guidance, and worked with various tools and technologies such as Jira, Confluence, Docker, and Grafana. Since January 2021, they have been working at Regrow Ag as a software engineer, leading a team of approximately 10 developers and working on projects related to sustainability and carbon project development. Tomas is responsible for managing engineers across different time zones and ensuring the team delivers high-quality work.
Tomas Donovic completed their high school education at The Scots College from the year 2000 to 2013. Tomas then pursued a Bachelor's degree at UNSW from 2014 to 2020, studying BSc in Psychology and BEng in Software.
