Alyssa Storey

Alyssa Storey has over 20 years of work experience in tax compliance and accounting. Alyssa currently works at Regulated Capital Consultants as a Consultant. Prior to that, they were a Tax Compliance Manager at Florida Power & Light Company, where they managed tax depreciation calculations, delivery of quarterly projections and annual tax returns for over 200 renewable and fossil fuel entities. Before that, they worked at NiSource as a Manager, Income Tax and at NextEra Energy Resources as a Sr. Tax Analyst, where they were responsible for annual consolidated federal and state returns, tax accounting for regulated entity income taxes, and monthly tax provision closing processes. Alyssa also worked at FirstEnergy as a Senior Tax Accountant, implementing new income tax provision software and managing tax accounting for the unregulated segment. Earlier in their career, they worked at Sisterson & Co. LLP as a Senior Associate, reviewing and preparing various tax returns, supervising a team, and providing payroll and Quickbooks consulting services to clients.

Alyssa Storey obtained their executive master's degree in Taxation from Florida Atlantic University between the years of 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed their bachelor's degree in Accounting from Washington & Jefferson College, spanning from 1992 to 1996.
