Finbarr Murray has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Finbarr has held various roles in different organizations, showcasing their expertise in facilities management and corporate affairs.

Starting in 2007, Murray served as the Head of Facilities Management at Alzheimer's Society. Finbarr then moved on to become the Vice President and Head of Global Corporate Services (EMEA) at Northern Trust in 2008.

In 2010, Murray took on the role of Head of FM at LB Croydon, where they led the development of the council's new headquarters and managed their property portfolio.

From 2012 to 2018, Murray joined East Kent Hospitals University Foundation Trust, initially serving as the Director of Estates, Facilities, Capital, and Procurement. During this time, they also formed and served as the Managing Director of 2gether Support Solutions, a company focused on asset management and medical engineering services.

Murray's work experience also includes positions as a Non-Executive Director at Spencer Private Hospitals Group and a Board Trustee at Avante Care & Support.

In 2021, Murray became the Director of Corporate Affairs at Rehab Group, overseeing various areas such as Property & Facilities, ICT, Communications and Media, Public Affairs & Fundraising.

Currently, Murray is a Member of the Board of Trustees at An Taisce since 2023.

Additionally, throughout their career, Murray has been a regular columnist for FMworld magazine, providing insights on facilities management topics.

Finbarr Murray obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Facilities Management from The University of Salford. Finbarr completed this program between the years 2008 and 2010.
