Julie Lynn Edwards has a diverse work experience in the field of speech-language pathology. Julie Lynn started their career at Dirty Dawg Carwash & Storage, where they worked as a Manager and Office Manager for over a decade. In 2010, they volunteered at Bridges Works, assisting disabled adults in acquiring skills for independent living and employment.

Julie's professional journey in speech-language pathology began in 2011 when they volunteered as an Education Volunteer at Kibois Wilburton Group Home. Following this, they interned at The Center for the Physically Limited as a Graduate Clinician Group Intern.

From 2012 to 2013, Julie worked as a Student Clinician at the University of Tulsa, where they evaluated and provided therapy for individuals with articulation, language learning disabilities, aphasia, and cognitive communication disorders. Julie Lynn also gained experience in augmentative and alternative communication evaluations.

At St. John's Medical Center, Julie was an intern Speech Language Pathologist. Here, they conducted clinical swallow evaluations, developed therapy goals, and provided treatment for adults with various disabilities.

Julie's next role was at Rehab Pro, where they worked as a Speech Language Pathologist & Assistant Rehab Manager/Rehab Clinical Coordinator. Alongside the Rehab Manager, they assisted with scheduling, discharge planning, and care plan coordination. As the lead Speech-Language Pathologist, they conducted swallow evaluations and developed therapy goals for adults with disabilities. Julie Lynn also trained new staff members and participated in interdisciplinary meetings.

Julie Lynn Edwards, M.S., CCC-SLP, HCA completed their Bachelor's of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Oklahoma State University from 2008 to 2012. Julie Lynn then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist at The University of Tulsa, graduating in 2014. In 2016 to 2017, Julie obtained a Master's of Science (MS) in Health Care Administration from Oklahoma State University, specializing in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Furthermore, they have attained additional certifications, including Direct Support Professional from Tulsa Community College and Vital Stim Certification from ciao.
