Rowen Guncheon

Rowen Guncheon is an Electronics Engineer at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children since May 2021, specializing in the design and manufacture of assistive devices for children, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Prior experience includes designing adapted toys as a Rehab Engineering Student, and contributing to a safety sensor system for a biomedical engineering project as a Design Team Member at the University of Manitoba. Rowen also served as Academics Lead and COVID-19 Coordinator at HDMG, and worked as an Electrical Assembler at Nonin Medical, Inc., testing pulse oximeters. Rowen holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, obtained from 2017 to 2022.
