Deniz Aktas Isaksson (She/her)

Deniz Aktas has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. She worked as a Project Leader, Graphic Designer, and Accessibility expert at Rehngruppen from August 2019 to the present. In this role, Deniz was responsible for producing templates and documents in Microsoft Office and the Adobe Suite, as well as graphic design and accessibility optimization of documents according to WCAG guidelines.

Prior to that, Deniz worked at Retriever as a Media Analyst from April 2013 to August 2019. Her responsibilities included analyzing the media impact for various companies and organizations in both editorial and social media. She also prepared presentations, reports, and graphical materials using Excel and PowerPoint.

Before joining Retriever, Deniz gained experience as a Retail/Sales Assistant at Flügger A/S from October 2011 to April 2013. She also worked as a Graphic production/Print/Finishing professional at CH Tryckeri from January 2012 to September 2012.

Deniz started her media analysis career at Infopaq as a Media Analyst/Administrator from May 2006 to December 2009. In this position, she read and categorized publicity, delivered editorial materials and reports to clients, managed invoicing and scheduling for the analysis department, and provided administrative support.

Lastly, Deniz worked at Björn Borg AB from December 1998 to August 2006. She served as an AD/Marketing Coordinator, responsible for graphic design and marketing coordination for the Björn Borg brand. She handled the production of marketing materials, coordination of photoshoots, management of in-house and web materials, and coordination of press and marketing materials for the brand's distributors. Additionally, before this role Deniz briefly worked as a Store Manager at Björn Borg AB from December 1998 to August 2000.

Deniz Aktas has a diverse education history. In 1998, she attended Konstskolan i Stockholm, studying Graphic Design. Then, in 2004, Deniz enrolled at Linnaeus University and pursued studies in both Webdesign and Interior Design. Continuing their academic journey, they attended Uppsala University in the same year, focusing on Bild och genus (Image and Gender) and Det offentliga rummets gestaltning (Design of the Public Space). In 2010, Deniz pursued a course in Eget företagande (Entrepreneurship). Most recently, from 2021 to 2022, Deniz attended Changemaker Educations for Front End Development and is currently enrolled at Chas Academy from 2022 to 2024, studying UX/UI Design with FrontEnd competence.
