Matt Thomson

Matt Thomson has extensive work experience in product development, engineering, and manufacturing. Matt is currently the Director of Design Engineering at Rehrig Pacific Company since 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of Product Development Operations & Engineering at Kids II from 2009 to 2018. From 2006 to 2009, Matt was the Vice President of Product Development and Manufacturing at OttLite Technologies, where they successfully transformed the company from a sourcing operation to a full-scale R&D operation. Before that, they worked at Kids II as a Sr. Product Development Engineer from 2003 to 2006. From 1993 to 2003, Matt held various positions at Makita USA, including Manager of Quality Control Department and Sr. Product Development Engineer. In these roles, they managed quality control, supplier management, and ISO 9001 certification processes.

Matt Thomson earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from the University of North Georgia, which they attended from 1986 to 1993.
