Monty D'Ambrosio has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Monty is currently employed as the Senior Director of Business Development for the HHS division at REI Systems since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Vice President for HHS Growth at Unissant from 2020 to 2022. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Business Development at GovernmentCIO from 2018 to 2020.
In 2017, Monty joined A Square Group (ASG) as the Vice President of Health Programs, where they were responsible for the overall strategy and direction of the Health group. Monty successfully led the capture for a $1.6 billion project. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Vice President of Aquilent, overseeing CMS and Navy programs and handling a team of 150+ staff and revenues of $40+ million annually.
Prior to that, Monty had a significant tenure at SRA, a CSRA company, where they held the role of Senior Director of BD and Account Manager-CMS/HHS Programs. Monty led the business development activities for multiple contract wins and managed programs within CMS, FDA, HRSA, and ACF. Monty also had a role as the Director at General Dynamics Information Technology, where they were responsible for managing the Virtual Data Center (VDC) IDIQ and overseeing IT programs.
Before entering the IT industry, Monty worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager from 2006 to 2010. Their earlier experiences include working as a Program Manager at Northrop Grumman and holding various roles at Baltimore Gas & Electric, including Substation Construction Project Manager and Nuclear Control Technician at Calvert Cliffs Plant.
Monty D'Ambrosio has a diverse education history. Monty earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 1997. Later, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Information and Telecommunication Systems from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School in 2005.
Additionally, Monty D'Ambrosio has a Reactor Operator Certification in Nuclear Power Theory and Plant Operations. This certification was obtained from the Nuclear Power School - Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC).
In terms of additional certifications, Monty D'Ambrosio has obtained the ITIL v3 Foundations, Service Strategy, and Service Design certifications from the APM Group in October 2009. Furthermore, they hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which was obtained in March 1998.
