Cathy Nielsen

Cathy Nielsen is a seasoned global operations executive with extensive experience in product creation and manufacturing, currently serving as DVP Product Operations for REI Co-op Brands since September 2012. Previously, Cathy held senior roles at adidas Group as Sr Director of Apparel Sourcing for South China and Managing Director for 5.11 Tactical, overseeing Asia Sourcing Operations. Earlier experience includes various leadership positions at adidas, focusing on supply chain integration across Asia Pacific, Americas, and Japan. Cathy also contributed to PepsiCo as Corporate Manager for Selling & Delivery. Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master’s in Business Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
