Matthew Thurston

Matthew Thurston is an accomplished sustainability professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Divisional Vice President of Sustainability at REI, Matthew has previously held positions including Director of Sustainability and Sr. Manager of Product & Supply Chain Sustainability. Academic qualifications include a Master of Environmental Management in Industrial Ecology from Yale University and a magna cum laude BA from Franklin & Marshall College. Additionally, Matthew contributed to sustainability research as a Research Associate at Yale Office of Sustainability and as a Fellow with the International Alliance of Research Universities at the University of Oxford.
