Peter Boarder

Peter Boarder has extensive experience in project management and regeneration roles. Peter started their career as a Planning Assistant at RMJM and NAI Fuller Peiser in the mid-1990s. Peter then worked as a Research Assistant and Resource Technician at London South Bank University and as a Research Assistant at EMAP. In 1998, they became an Assistant Town Centre Manager at Tower Hamlets Environment Trust, where they worked until 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they were a Project Worker at Tower Hamlets Environment Trust, and then moved on to Tribal Group as a Project Manager (Town Centre) from 2001 to 2006. Peter briefly worked at Shoreditch Trust as the Head of Business & European Services in 2006. Peter's longest role was at Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, where they held several positions. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Project Manager (New Growth Points) and then became a Project Manager (VFM) from 2008 to 2009. Peter was then promoted to the role of Project Manager (Regeneration) from 2009 to 2018. Finally, in 2018, they were appointed as the Head of Place Delivery, a position they currently hold, with responsibility for strategic and operational delivery of property development projects and regeneration programs for the Council.

Peter Boarder obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Town Planning from London South Bank University from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Town Planning at the same university from 1993 to 1994. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Certification Training from APM Group in May 2006, and the Strategic Leadership in Modern Local Government certification from ILM in March 2020.
