Kristrún Tinna Gunnarsdóttir serves as the Head of Strategy & Sustainability at Íslandsbanki since April 2019, focusing on integrating sustainability into the bank's operations and facilitating strategic initiatives. In addition to this role, Kristrún is a member of the Leadership Council for UN Global Compact á Íslandi and a Board Member for The Wetland Fund, which addresses CO2 emissions from degraded wetlands in Iceland. Kristrún also holds the position of Alternate Board Member at Reiknistofa bankanna RB, and has extensive prior experience at Oliver Wyman, where work involved corporate finance and organizational effectiveness, as well as participation in a governmental committee to develop a vision for Iceland's financial system. Kristrún's educational background includes multiple degrees in Economics and International Management from prestigious institutions, including the Stockholm School of Economics and Háskóli Íslands.
