Ken Antunes has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of equipment and supplies management in the foodservice industry. Ken started their career in 1986 as a Sales Representative at Scruggs Food Service Equipment. Ken then worked as a Regional Sales Manager at American Food Service Equipment Co. from 1993 to 1998, where they achieved double-digit sales growth each year. From 1998 to 2001, Ken served as the Contract Sales Manager at Tennessee Restaurant Equipment Sales, where they successfully grew sales from $150,000 to $2,000,000 annually. In 2001, they joined Performance Foodservice as an Equipment and Supplies Manager. Ken's next career move was to American Diversified Supply Co. as the General Manager from 2001 to 2008. During their tenure, they implemented various digital solutions and significantly improved sales and profitability. Finally, Ken joined Reinhart Foodservice in 2001 as the KNX Equipment and Supplies Manager, where they launched and managed the highly successful Reinhart DirectShip Restaurant Supply program. The program has consistently experienced double-digit growth under their leadership.
Ken Antunes has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville, which they obtained from 1984 to 1987. In addition, they have an Associate's degree in Flight Medicine from USAF Aeromedical Technician, which they completed from 1981 to 2001. Furthermore, they received a CFSP (Certified Food Service Professional) certification from NAFEM after undergoing Food Service Professional Training from 1989 to 1990.
