Leah Rusenko

Leah Rusenko is a dedicated professional in the field of health equity and program management, currently serving as Program Manager at the Reinvestment Fund, overseeing national Invest Health and regional Building Healthier, More Equitable Communities initiatives since March 2023. Previously, Leah held the position of Lead Foundation Program Specialist at Independence Blue Cross Foundation from June 2019 to March 2023, where significant contributions included the development of a $15 million Institute for Health Equity and management of a $12 million annual grants budget. Prior roles include Project Manager at DIVERSANT, LLC, and various positions at Independence Blue Cross Foundation, where Leah was instrumental in grant program strategy and operations. An intern with organizations such as the Institute of Medicine and Fiocruz, Leah has also contributed to public health initiatives in diverse settings. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in International Health from Georgetown University and ongoing studies for a certificate in Impact and Sustainable Investing at Tufts University.
