Hugo Leduc

Director of Battery Algorithms at ReJoule

Hugo Leduc has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Hugo currently works at ReJoule as Director of Battery Algorithms, where they lead the battery testing effort and designs experiments to determine battery characteristics. Prior to this, they were a Senior Electrochemistry Data Scientist at ReJoule, where they conducted an accelerated aging study on li-ion LFP batteries. Hugo also worked as an Electrochemistry Data Scientist at ReJoule, where they interpreted EIS spectrum and designed battery experimentation.

Before joining ReJoule, Hugo worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Illinois Institute of Technology, where they conducted research on diabetics blood clotting and developed a kinetic model of fibrinogen glycation. Hugo also worked as an Electrochemical Engineering R&D Intern at Blue Solutions, where they optimized Lithium Metal Polymer solid-state batteries. Hugo has also worked as an Information Technology Consultant at Thales and as a Medical Imaging Production Engineering Intern at Thales, where they improved manufacturing processes and developed software solutions.

Additionally, Hugo has experience working as Summer Staff at WHSmith, where they managed book storage, deployed marketing strategies, and worked in a food booth. Hugo also had a brief Student Internship at DE DIETRICH THERMIQUE. Hugo started their career as Summer Staff at WHSmith, where they gained valuable work experience.

Hugo Leduc began their education in 2012 at Lycee Franklin D Roosevelt, where they studied Physics and Chemistry in the Classe Préparatoire aux Grandes Ecoles program. From 2015 to 2016, they attended Grenoble INP - Phelma, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Materials and Process Engineering. Hugo then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrochemistry and Process Engineering at Grenoble INP - UGA from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, they also studied at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering.
