Stijn Rocher

Stijn Rocher is an experienced professional in economic policy and analysis, currently serving as a Deputy Auditor for Performance Audit at Rekenhof since October 2024. Concurrently, Stijn Rocher has been a Strategy Analyst at FOD Financiën - SPF Finances since May 2015, with prior roles including Advisor in fiscal and economic policy and Economic Advisor to the Federal Minister of Finance. Stijn Rocher also represented the Flemish Government as Policy Advisor to the Flemish Minister of Finance and Budget from December 2019 to September 2024. Previous positions include Economic Adviser at BNP Paribas Fortis and Economic Analyst roles at the European Commission. Stijn Rocher holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp and has pursued advanced studies at the Luxembourg School of Finance and KU Leuven.
