José Cañizares

José Cañizares is a frontend developer who has been working in the industry for over three years. José started their career as a frontend engineer at Reby, where they worked on product frontend development with React and Redux. José then moved to Strands, where they worked on product frontend development with React and Redux, as well as testing with Jest/Enzyme and Jenkins Pipeline. After Strands, they freelanced for a year before becoming a web developer at Picapoint. At Picapoint, they created fashion web shops in Wordpress and custom PHP, and developed realtime image conversion tools for designers. José also created a CMS prototype with React and Firebase, and a discount app for Norwegian sports shops. After Picapoint, they interned at Workday as a webapp engineering intern for four months. José is currently working as a frontend developer at Relai.

José Cañizares graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018 with a degree in software engineering and a focus in computer science. During their time at CU Boulder, they were involved in the Computer Graphics Club.
