Jess Tyrrell

Jess Tyrrell has over 19 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and auditing. Jess currently holds the position of Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Relation Insurance Services since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at NFP as the Vice President of Central Region Controller for five years. During their time at NFP, they managed accounting teams, conducted multiple Epic Conversions, and led various implementations and conversions. Before NFP, Jess worked at CNA Insurance as a Finance Manager, where they handled month-end and quarter-end analysis and reporting, as well as provided forecasted results to the CFO. Jess also has experience at Hub International as a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, where they developed the department and executed the annual budget process. Jess also worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at Hub International and Green Tree Financial Servicing, where they managed operational audits, implemented audit processes, and provided recommendations to improve internal controls. Jess started their career at Allianz and Ernst & Young as a Senior Internal Auditor and Senior Auditor, respectively, where they conducted audits in various industries and provided recommendations for internal controls improvement.

Jess Tyrrell obtained an MBA in Management and Finance from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, which was completed from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, Jess also graduated from the same institution with a BA degree in Accounting and English from 1998 to 2002.
