Ilias Fountalis

Ilias Fountalis has worked as a Data Scientist at RelationalAI since January 2019. Prior to this, they were a Consumer Data Scientist at RentPath, LLC from August 2016 to December 2018. In this role, they worked on image recognition using ensembles of convolutional neural networks, a hybrid recommendation system for e-mail campaign optimization, and personalized sort order algorithms. Before joining RentPath, LLC, Ilias was a Research Intern at Damballa, Inc. from May 2015 to August 2015 and at IBM in Ireland from May 2014 to August 2014.

Ilias Fountalis completed their education in the field of computer science. Ilias received a Bachelor's degree from Athens University of Economics and Business in 2008. Ilias then pursued a Master's degree in computer science from the same university, graduating in 2010. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing their doctoral studies in 2015.
