Jeffrey started as a Navigation Engineer for the Mission Operations Support Team on the NASA/NOAA weather satellite mission GOES-R. Jeffrey then served as a Senior GNC Engineer, where they developed pointing, acquisition, and tracking controls systems for optical laser communication telescope transceiver, designed reference trajectories for space missions, and produced hardware test data post-processing scripts for NASA's Laser Communication Relay Demonstration mission.
Currently, they hold the position of Program Manager of Commercial Space Programs & GNC Manager at Relative Dynamics Inc., where they oversee commercial space programs and manages the guidance, navigation, and control team.
Jeffrey G. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin from 2000 to 2005. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the same institution. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering at the University of Maryland College Park. In 2015, Jeffrey G. engaged in distance learning at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on a non-degree program. Additionally, in October 2022, they obtained a FreeFlyer Level 1 Certification from a.i. solutions.
