Tristan Kinney

Tristan Kinney is a Combustion Devices Design Engineer II at Relativity Space, with responsibilities including design, development, and analysis of the Aeon R Gas Generator Injector. Previously held positions at Relativity Space include Combustion Devices Design Engineer I and various roles as an intern. Tristan served as President of SEDS UCSD, overseeing technical projects and representing the organization at industry events. Other notable roles include Director of Propulsion & Engine RE, Rocket Lander Project Manager and Founder, and Chief Engineer within SEDS UCSD. Tristan's experience also encompasses work as a Propulsion/Mechanical Engineering Intern at Parabilis Space Technologies and as a Mars Rover Robotics Engineer at Yonder Dynamics. Tristan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a specialty in Propulsion and Combustion from UC San Diego.
