Michael Holliday is an accomplished scientist in the field of structural biology, currently serving as the Head of Structural Biology at Relay Therapeutics since July 2019. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions including Principal Scientist and Sr. Scientist, showcasing a progressive career within the organization. Michael's earlier experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Genentech, focusing on immune signaling proteins and employing advanced techniques such as X-ray crystallography and Cryo-EM. Academically, Michael earned a PhD in Structural Biology from the University of Colorado Denver and holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Physics from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and Biochemistry from Dartmouth College. Additionally, Michael has contributed to research on obesity-related insulin resistance and the functional dynamics of proteins throughout a diverse career in both academic and industrial settings.
