Jake Cassaday

Jake is a Venture Partner at Relay Ventures. He also serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Playmaker Capital, a digital ecosystem for sports fans. Prior to joining Playmaker Capital, Jake was a Partner at Relay Ventures, where he supported deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management. Jake has been actively involved in the startup and venture community during his time at Relay and the Rotman School of Management MBA program as a member of the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), and as VP of the Rotman Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Association. Previous to Rotman, Jake managed product development and marketing as a Global Brand Manager for tech brands at Spin Master.

Jake holds an MBA from the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management and a BA from McGill University.
