Marco Datola

Marco Datola has extensive work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Marco is currently working at relayr as a Senior Product Owner and previously held the position of Product Owner at the same company. Prior to this, Marco worked at Vodafone Business as a Product Owner for two years.

Their earlier experience includes multiple roles at Vodafone, starting as a Technology Discover Graduate. Marco served as an IoT DevOps Engineer and Infrastructure Manager, where they deployed hybrid cloud infrastructure and automated patching activities. Marco also managed teams of System Integrators and was recognized as Vodafone IoT Top Talent.

During their time at Vodafone, Marco also worked as an Enterprise Products & Solutions Project Manager, where they successfully project managed an internal analysis of the Enterprise Product Portfolio. Marco presented the outcome to the Director of the department and contributed to the creation of digital tools for dynamic dashboards. These achievements earned him a Star Award.

Marco's other roles at Vodafone include Cloud & Security Service Architect, where they designed service models for global complex customer deals, and Submarine Systems Engineer, where they supported the management and upgrade of transmission equipment for cable systems.

Before their time at Vodafone, Marco worked as an IT Consultant at Vid4Hire and as an Electronic Engineer at TruLife Optics.

Marco Datola holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electronic Engineering with Telecommunications from Queen Mary University of London. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2020, SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2019, and Terminal Power Safety Officer from Global Marine Group in October 2017.
