Chip Melvin

Chip Melvin has over 20 years of work experience, with their most recent role as Vice President of Operations at Relevant Industrial, LLC. In this position, they spearhead purchasing, logistics, inventory management, and working capital operations for the Instrumentation and Automation division. Chip also designs and executes strategies to enhance profitability, reduce costs, and increase working capital. Prior to this, they served as the Purchasing and National Inventory Manager at Aztec Events & Tents, where they managed a $7 million inventory across multiple locations. Chip also established quality control standards and developed procurement and logistics plans for major projects. Chip's earlier experience includes a role in Marketing and Sales at Interface EAP, where they implemented services for new clients and marketed directly to employers. Chip also worked as a Computer Operator Shift Supervisor at Universal Computer Systems, where they ensured the correct performance of standard operating procedures and provided support for clients and field technicians. Throughout their career, Chip has demonstrated a strong ability to collaborate across departments, identify process gaps, and implement improvements for organizations.

Chip Melvin attended the University of Houston from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a BA degree in History and English.
