Alayna Marteal, PharmD, RPh has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacy. Alayna is currently serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Medical Affairs and Medical Communications at Relevate Health. Alongside their role at Relevate Health, they are also a part of the Professional Programming Committee at the Industry Pharmacists Organization (IPO).

Alayna Marteal, PharmD, RPh completed their education in a sequential manner, specializing in the field of Pharmacy. Alayna first attended the University of Louisiana Monroe from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Toxicology and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree at South College, studying from 2017 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Alayna Marteal has obtained various certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Alayna acquired certification in Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery from the American Pharmacists Association in October 2017, followed by another certification in Pharmacy Based Immunization Delivery in November 2017 from the same institution. Alayna also obtained certification as a Pharmacist from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy in October 2020.

Furthering their expertise, they obtained certifications in Medication Therapy Management Services in April 2018 and Naloxone Administration in April 2018, both from the American Pharmacists Association and the Tennessee Department of Health, respectively. Alayna also received certification in The Pharmacist & Patient-Centered Diabetes Care from the American Pharmacists Association in November 2019 and Cannabidiol Counseling from Ananda Hemp in December 2020.

Additionally, Alayna Marteal obtained a Teaching and Learning Certificate from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in June 2023, as well as a Sterile Compounding certification from the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists in October 2021. Alayna also possesses Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, obtained in December 2021.

Alayna Marteal is a licensed pharmacist certified by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy since October 2020.
