Ian Finlay

Ian Finlay is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Relevate Power since May 2024, Ian previously held the position of Executive Vice President for Corporate Development & Strategy at OYA Renewables from February 2022 to April 2024. As Principal at OYA Ventures from February 2022 to July 2023, Ian led investments aimed at combating climate change and supporting affected communities. Prior roles include strategic positions at Ontario Power Generation and OMERS Infrastructure, as well as experience in transaction advisory services at EY. Ian holds a Master of Laws in Energy and Infrastructure from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School and an MBA in Strategic Business Valuation & Corporate Finance from McMaster University.
