David Clay

Chief Investment Officer at Reliance Bank

David Clay has extensive experience in the banking sector, starting in 1992 at Southwest Bank as a Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for sales of fixed income investment products and provided consultation on asset/liability modeling for risk and return profiles. David then joined Pulaski Bank in 2002 as a Vice President, where they specialized in asset liability consulting for commercial bank customers. In 2008, Clay became the Chief Investment Officer at Reliance Bank, overseeing risk management and monitoring interest rate risk for the institution. David managed a $250,000,000 fixed income investment portfolio. Clay also held the role of Chief Investment Officer at Reliance Bank, fsb, in the same year.

David Clay earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Westminster College (MO) between 1977 and 1981. David then went on to pursue further education and obtained an MBA in Finance from Saint Louis University, completing their studies from 1985 to 1987.
