Dr. Prasenjit Ray

Dr. Prasenjit Ray has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, focusing on health insurance. Dr. Prasenjit has held various roles at Reliance General Insurance, starting from Assistant Manager in Health Claims in 2011 and progressing to Deputy Vice President in 2022. Prior to their time at Reliance, they worked at ICICI Lombard as an Investigation Manager in Health. Dr. Prasenjit also gained experience at Medicare TPA Services India Private Limited as a Medical Associate, where they were involved in project administration and implementation of health insurance policies. Dr. Ray has also worked in clinical practice and as a Medical Officer at Heritage Heath TPA Pvt Ltd. Dr. Prasenjit began their career as a Psychiatric Medical Officer at New Monobikash kendra.

Dr. Prasenjit Ray has a diverse education history. Dr. Prasenjit obtained their Senior Management Programme in Business Administration and Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2019. In 2016, they completed a Specialised Diploma in Health Insurance from the Insurance Institute of India. Prior to that, in 2011, they earned a Licentiate degree in Non-Life (General Insurance) from the same institution. In 2010, they obtained a Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française from the French Ministry of Education, focusing on French Language and Literature A1 et A2. Dr. Prasenjit has a Doctor of Medicine degree in Psychiatry from Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, which they received in 2007. Their earlier education includes a Medicine degree from the University of Calcutta in 2003 and a Higher Secondary (10+2) qualification from Mitra Institution (Main) in 1996. Additionally, they have certifications in Licentiate in General Insurance (Non-Life) and LAM from the Insurance Institute of India and Indian Psychiatric Society respectively.
