Swanand Patil

Swanand Patil is a seasoned materials scientist with extensive experience in advanced materials research and development, currently serving as Team Lead at Reliance Industries Limited since June 2011, where leadership includes R&D projects on carbon fiber, 3D printing materials, and graphene composites. Prior roles include Sr. Research Scientist focused on developing a one-step process for carbon nanotube mats and a Postdoctoral Associate at Rutgers University, working on biodegradable polymer composites for biomedical applications. Patil's academic background includes a PhD and MS in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Central Florida, complemented by a BEng in Polymer Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, along with earlier experience in quality control and R&D internships.
