Steven Acevedo

Steven Acevedo has extensive experience in claims management, currently serving as a Supervisor for Long Term Disability (LTD) Claims at Reliance Matrix since February 2007, overseeing a team of Claims Examiners in the investigation and determination of benefit eligibility. Steven began at Reliance Matrix as an LTD Claims Examiner and progressed to Senior LTD Claims Examiner, managing complex accounts and fostering strong client relationships. Prior to that, Steven worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance Group from May 2003 to February 2007, where roles included Workers' Compensation Claims Case Manager, conducting negotiations, managing complex claims, and supporting large business accounts. Steven's career began at Fairfield University as a Graduate Assistant, managing operations for the Family Literacy Project while completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
