Craig Redmond has extensive work experience in the humanitarian and development sector. Craig is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Relief International since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Mercy Corps for over 20 years in various leadership roles. As the Senior Vice President, Programs, they led large, diverse teams worldwide and significantly grew the organization's annual budget from $200M to over $500M. Craig also served as the Southeast Asia Regional Director, overseeing country programs and leading the Indian Ocean Tsunami response. Craig Redmond was the Country Director for Mercy Corps in Indonesia and Eritrea, where they established program strategies and led impactful initiatives. Additionally, they worked as a Program Director for Azerbaijan at Mercy Corps. Before joining Mercy Corps, they worked as a Programme Officer at UNHCR.

Craig Redmond attended the University of Idaho, where they completed coursework toward a Master of Arts degree in Medieval Literature. Craig also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the same university, with a focus on English and Botany/Forestry. Additionally, they pursued coursework toward a Master of Business Administration degree at Marylhurst University.
