Daniel Zang

Daniel Zang is an experienced leader in interreligious dialogue and community service, currently serving as a member of the Advisory Council for the Housing Emergency Plan at the Ministeri de Vivienda y Urbanismo since August 2022. As President of ADIR, the Asociación Chilena de Diálogo Interreligioso para el Desarrollo Humano, since August 2017, Daniel Zang focuses on promoting respect for spiritual diversity. Additionally, Daniel holds the position of advisor on interreligious dialogue at the ONAR (National Office of Religious Affairs), where responsibilities include developing an ethical code for dialogue. As a member of Religions for Peace since March 2008, Daniel Zang contributes to initiatives that foster a culture of inclusion, tolerance, and peace through education and community engagement. Daniel has been serving as Rabbi for the Comunidad Israelita Sefaradi de Chile since January 2007. Daniel's educational background includes a rabbinical degree obtained from seminary studies between 1986 and 2001 and a licentiate degree from the University of Buenos Aires, complemented by studies at the Escuela Superior de Comercio Carlos Pellegrini.
