Barbara Schoenfeld

Barbara Schoenfeld is the Founder and Managing Director of Saffron LLC, a firm established in 2007 that provides strategic advice for growing enterprises. In addition to leading the firm, Barbara holds several board positions, including Secretary at The Nursing Beat, Board Observer and Advisor at Rellevate, and Trustee at the Naval War College Foundation. Previously, Barbara served as President and Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Newport Art Museum and was an Angel Investor with the Cherrystone Angel Group. Career highlights include roles as Executive Director at Brooks, Houghton & Company, Inc., Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Alternative Investments at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., and Deputy Treasurer/General Counsel for the State of Rhode Island Treasury. Barbara's legal background includes working as an attorney at Ropes & Gray. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts cum laude, a Master of City Planning, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.
