Adriaan Van Gerven

Adriaan Van Gerven has work experience in two companies. From October 2019 to September 2020, they were the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder at Relu, a company specializing in deep learning and medical imaging, particularly in the dental field. At Relu, they were involved in building AI-workflow applications for clinicians and industry. Prior to that, from August 2018 to November 2018, they worked as an AI squad intern at Twipe - Digital Publishing. In this role, they participated in designing an end-to-end AI system for optimizing news consumption, performed data analysis, and provided insights on previous experiments. Adriaan also designed a system for send-time optimization of emails.

Adriaan Van Gerven pursued their education in a sequential manner, starting with their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering + Computer Science at KU Leuven. After completing this degree, they then proceeded to enroll in the Master of Mathematical Engineering program also at KU Leuven, which they successfully completed from 2017 to 2019.
