Jacob Lamar

Jacob Lamar has extensive experience in maritime operations, currently serving as an Operational Specialist at bp since March 2022 and as a Marine Technician with the U.S. Coast Guard since August 2006, holding the title of USCG Master of Unlimited Tonnage. Previous roles include Chief Mate at Transocean and Valaris plc, where Jacob also served as Master/OIM, and earlier positions at Rowan Companies and as a Major Emergency Management Assessor with RelyOn Nutec. Jacob began professional training as a cadet with the Military Sealift Command and G&H Towing, and holds a degree in Marine Transportation with a focus on Maritime Studies from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus.
