Amy Lessinger

President at RE/MAX

Amy Lessinger oversees regional operations in the RE/MAX West Region, working with franchisees to drive growth and success in 15 states from Hawaii to the Dakotas.

Amy joined the network in 1998 as an agent with a RE/MAX brokerage in Reno, Nevada. She had three years of real estate experience at the time, and joined RE/MAX with a plan to build her career through service, referrals and industry involvement. During the next seven years, she closed over $47 million in sales and became active in REALTOR® organizations on the state and local level. In 2005, she joined RE/MAX Realty Affiliates by opening a new office in Reno and partnering with the Broker/Owner of offices in Carson City and Gardnerville, Nevada. Amy brought seven top-producing agents on board in the first month. Starting day one, she worked hard to create a culture of productivity, service and professional development, always encouraging her agents to leverage the power of the RE/MAX brand and resources. Her leadership and focus on quality helped RE/MAX Realty Affiliates grow market share in any conditions, and in 2017 the firm ranked No. 1 in sales volume for the three-state RE/MAX Southwest Region. In August 2020, Amy sold her ownership interest in the brokerage – which has grown to over 130 agents – and joined the RE/MAX World Headquarters team in her current position.

Amy is a Nevada native and earned a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Encouraged by her father, a successful developer, Amy earned her real estate license and began her career as an agent in Reno. She fell in love with the business, earned Rookie of the Year and, after gaining experience and confidence, joined a RE/MAX brokerage in Reno in 1998.
