Japheth Mwangangi, PharmD, MPH

Japheth Mwangangi, PharmD, MPH, has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Japheth has held various roles at different companies throughout their career.

In 2007, Japheth worked as a Chemist at SPEX CertiPrep. Japheth then joined CVS Health in 2008, initially as a Pharmacy Intern and later as a Staff Pharmacist. Japheth worked at CVS Health until 2014.

From 2014 to 2020, Japheth worked as a Long Term Care Pharmacist at Remedi SeniorCare Pharmacy. Japheth then joined Polaris Pharmacy Services in 2020 as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), a role they held until 2021.

In 2017, Japheth took on the position of Pharmacy Advisor (Subject Matter Expert) at Guidepoint. Japheth worked in this role until 2022.

Since 2022, Japheth has been involved in two positions. Currently, they are working as a Long Term Care Pharmacist (Per Diem) at Remedi SeniorCare Pharmacy. Japheth also serves as the Outpatient Pharmacy Supervisor at LifeBridge Health.

Japheth Mwangangi, PharmD, MPH, pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their undergraduate degree from William Paterson University of New Jersey. From 2002 to 2007, they studied Chemistry/Biology and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Following this, Japheth attended the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Global Public Health/Global Health from the University of Maryland School of Medicine (2009-2012).
